The new Mk1 spitfire form Airfix. Wingspan 234mm, Length 190mm. You can model either RAF Duxford 1938 No.19 Squadron spitfire or the Mk2 Spitfire 118 squadron A flight RAF Ivesley 1941.
The Mk1 went into service with No.19 Fighter squadron at RAF Duxford and had the distinct features of the two bladed fixed pitch propellor, unamoured windscreen and a straight radio mast. The kit also includes decals and parts for a Mk2a of 118 Squadron RAF with a three blade Rotol propeller witha blunt spinner. | |
