At the September 1968 Road America Can-Am, Andretti qualified eighth fastest in his first race in the George Bignotti Lola that Parnelli Jones had driven in the previous season.Andretti stated, That the the Lola T70 I drove for Bignotti in 68 probably had the most potential and was the most fun of any of the Lola cars that i had ever driven.
