Murphy Models OO CIE 142 Class 141 EMD Diesel Locomotive SuperTrain Black & Orange Livery (MM0142)

Murphy Models have announced another production batch of the popular  class 141/181 Bo-Bo locomotive models in the much requested CIE SuperTrain livery, with delivery expected late in 2008. This model of number 142 will be fitted with a staff collector/catcher.

These highly detailed models produced for Murphy Models by  Bachmann  feature highly detailed bodyshells with excellent  grille depth and  finer, more accurate grab irons. The side handrails are moulded in a flexible plastic to help prevent accidental breakages.
Internally a centrally mounted motor and heavy diecast chassis provides drive to  all four axles and the ability to haul substantial trains.

Murphy Models OO IE 222 River Dargle Class 201 Co-Co Diesel Locomotive InterCity Livery (MM0222)

A new high-specification model of the Irish 201 class Co-Co diesel locomotives used extensively on Intercity express services, including the cross-border Enterprise service between Dublin and Belfast.
This model of IE 222 Abhainn na Dargaile/River Dargle is painted the Iarnrod Eireann Intercity grey and green livery carried by most of the later locomotives, which also feature push/pull capability. This livery matches the IE mark 4 coaches, however the entire class is rotated through a variety of assignments to help even out the increased rate of wear incurred on the most onerous duties.
