Corgi 1/76 Wright Eclipse Urban Arriva Shires & Essex (OM46005)
Arriva the Shires and Essex operates over 600 buses and Green Line coaches on services
across the northern Home Counties and into London. The company is derived from significant
parts of the formely Country Bus and Coach Division of London Transport and the United
Counties Omnibus Company Ltd.
In September 2005, the company purchased 19 Scania L94UB/Wrightbus Solar single deck buses for services in the Luton area. These smooth and powerful easy access vehicles have 44 seats and many carry 33 standig passengers. Twelve buses are branded for busy service 38 from Luton to Dunstable via Houghton Regis. They replaced Dennis Trident double deckers cascaded to services in Buckinghamshire and Hertfordshire.
