Although well-known as buses the Bristol RE could also be ordered in a coach configuration. A different differential and back axle, softer springing and coach seats made this a very comfortable vehicle for the passengers. Bristol Omnibus painted their RE coahes in this attractive green and cream livery, complemented with the addition of the new coach style wheel hubs.

This model depicits fleet vehicle number 2070, registration GHY 132K and is operating on route 184 to Frome, one of the Bristol company's many long distance country routes into Somerset.

Southern National of Plymouth, as part of the Tilling group, was one of the original operators of this type of vehicle. By the time that they bought these coaches Southern National was highly integrated with it's bigger neighbour Western National.

Exeter City Transport bought five batches of Leyland PD2A buses between April 1961 and October 1965. fleet number 83, registration 483 EFG route 5 Crediton which was new in May 1962. on the 22 mile long country route from Exmouth to Crediton via Woodbury and Exeter.

Plymouth Citybus MPD 205 was introduced into the fleet in 2003, specifically for use on the route 25A & 25B Park and Ride services that the Company provided on behalf of Plymouth City Council. These routes linked the Park and Ride site at Milehouse with the Railway Station, City Centre and the historic Barbican and Hoe areas, all of which attract large numbers of visitors from around the world. These vehicles carried route branding and were painted in a dedicated livery of green and yellow in order to emphasis their importance to the public transport scene in the City.

This Mercedes Citaro is one of eight such vehicles that were delivered to this municipal operator in autumn 2005.They adorn the revised Citybus livery and logo and have been put to work on the important City Centre Plympton Services 21 and 51 where these striking buses are helping to entice "die hard " motorists from their cars and onto public transport.The buses carry up to 66 passengers and were supplied by Evobus which is a Mercedes Benz UK Division

Registration number 541 CFJ, fleet number 404, is portrayed en-route to London.

The Bedford SB Chassis and Duple Vega Coach body proved another winner for the manufactures when introduced in the mid 1950’s; This coach with around 40 seats was in many ways a replacement for the earlier OB Coach. Many operators welcomed the higher capacity vehicles during the late 1950's.

The model is based on fleet No.1, N101 UTT which numerically was the first SLF Dart to enter service during June 1996.

Plymouth Citybus has made the Dennis Dart its standard "Midi Bus" type single deck vehicle since the early 1990's. Its first deliveries took place during 1992 and the following three years saw some thirty 9.8 metre step entrance models enter the fleet. Since 1996 the 'SLF' type 10.7 metre single door Plaxton Pointer bodied Dart has become the new standard with some 25 examples currently operating with the Company.

This is UK1024 carrying the Park & Ride livery of Stagecoach Devon .This model represents Stagecoach Devon 17002 (S802 BWC). This bus was originally TA2 in London and is the sister to TA1, the first production Dennis Trident delivered to a UK bus operator After leaving London, 17002 was put into Stagecoach livery and entered service in Torbay for the summer season along with others from the same batch. Following refurbishment, Stagecoach 17002 was one of the 5 ex Leyton Garage London Tridents to be put onto Exeter’s Honiton Road Park & Ride service. Devon Design & Print produced this distinctive Yellow and Blue livery which has been used to brand all three of Exeter’s Park & Ride services. The introduction of these low-floor, larger capacity buses enabled the Honiton Road Park & Ride become one of the fastest growing bus services in the UK in 2005.

Since the operation of City Airbus routes ceased a couple years ago, the new lives of the ex-Airbus Volvo Olympian / Alexander Royales have been of interest to British enthusiasts. This model represents fleet number 34200 (V00 273), which was delivered new to London United in the spring of 1996 for London Airbus services. National Express purchased the Airbus operation from London United in 1999 along with the 19 Olympians, which operated it. These vehicles were unusual in having Air Conditioning, only 9 seats in the lower saloon, luggage racks and a wheelchair space & lift. Following the reduction of Airbus services, First Bus acquired many Olympians from the dealer Ensign bus The Olympian / Royale was introduced into First Devon & Cornwall fleet October 2004 and they were dedicated vehicles on the X80 route from Plymouth to Torquay. The vehicles can seat 43 people on the top deck and 22 on the lower deck plus one wheelchair. They are still fitted with air-conditioning, which comes in very useful during the summer months for visitors and residents alike who enjoy the warm climate of the Devon Riviera.

Creative Master Northcord Limited is pleased to announce the release of UK5017, in Plymouth Citybus livery, the first single-door model of the brand new Mercedes-Benz Citaro EURO 5 casting with protruding destination box above the windscreen. UK5017 represents fleet number 91 (WA56 OZR) that was new to Plymouth Citybus in 2006. This Mercedes-Benz Citaro is one of seven such vehicles manufactured to Euro 5 specifications for this municipal operator and delivered in the winter of 2006. The vehicles commenced service from January 2007 and have been used predominantly on one of the company’s flagship routes the City Centre to Ernesettle service 43 where in their striking livery they are assisting in changing the perception of ‘die hard’ car user that public transport is a realistic alternative mode of travel.

Since the Eden Project opened in 2001 it has welcomed over 8 million people and they all have to be driven around the huge site quickly, comfortably and in an environmentally friendly manner by Mercedes-Benz Citaro G buses. The Eden Project is owned by the Eden Trust. It is more than just a green theme park. Eden is about connecting plants, people and places. It is a living demonstration of regeneration and aims to reconnect people with their environments locally and globally. The bus is decorated with all icons of the park, including the Humid Tropics Biome, plants, flowers, etc. CN02 EDN is recreated as running on route 5, from the Eden Project to the Park & Ride stops in the Apple, Banana, Lime, Plum, Strawberry, Melon, Cherry, Lemon and Mango zones. The light orange and grey paint scheme is decorated with photographs from around the eden project complex and a representation of the eden projects huge and distictive environment domes which permit artificial tropical conditions to be maintained with minimal energy consumption.
