Produced in high quality materials the IXO range feature decoration techniques which IXO Models can claim to have the most advanced technology and expertise. Several techniques must be simultaneously used to guarantee an accurate decoration, Mask spraying, Pad printing, allowing to printing directly on the main body, and Silk-screen printed water decals. All these decoration techniques are applied on the model by a selected team of "gold-finger" craftsmen.
The Petlyakov Pe-8 was a Soviet heavy bomber designed before World War II, and the only four-engine bomber the USSR built during the war. Produced in limited numbers, it was used to bomb Berlin in August 1941.
