During 1917-18, she made 4 round trips across the Atlantic and serviced the Atlantic Fleet until 1922. In 1922-23 she served with the fleet in Turkish waters and then returned to US where she served on bothy coasts until 1937 when she was based with the Asiatic Fleet until 1940. From 1940-41, she worked from California to Pearl Harbor and after WW2 broke out, she served in all the Pacific campains and she was on occupation duties in Japan when she struck a mine off Korea. She was repaired at Sasebo but withdrawn from service the following year and sold at Manila at the end of 1947.
