A fine model of the Thunderbolt from Corgi again this is finished in the livery of the well known ace Captain Herschel Green. Alternative parts are supplied to display the landing gear raised or lowered and a display stand is included.
Herschel Green known as Herky was a very popular leader and commanded the 317th FS from March to September 1944 .At this time they were the only P-47 group within the Fifteenth Air Force and the leadership of Green made it one of the most successful groups of the Second world war.Like all Greens aircraft this P-47 carried the number 11. | |
