On May 1, 1928 a special production model of the famous Rolls Royce Phantom with registration YV 5819 was delivered to diamond salesman Otto Oppenheimer. It was an exceptionally costly and luxurious version with four doors, a sporting but elegantly looking bodywork and an integrated boot. Among the cars particularities were the slightly V-shaped windshield with original sun visor, ventilators that reminded of ship funnels and the spare wheels on each side. The expensive upholstery consisted of 90% real leather. All interior and exterior fittings were silver-plated and in some places even incrusted with ivory. This super Rolls Royce vene had a secret compartment for the safe transportation of diamonds, which gave it its nickname 'Black diamond'
