The third generation Corvette was sold as from 1968 onwards. Because of the swing in its fenders and its shape, the car was also called Coke-bottle-shape Corvette. Unlike its predecessor it now had a bodywork that showed the continuous Stingray'-writing. Apart from the version with a 350 engine (5,7 liter) the C3 such as this modell, was a version with the 427 cubic inch engine (7,0 liter displacement).
