Scale detailing is also supplied, with rigging, fishing gear and other laser-cut decoration. A crew may even add, by purchase of the fishermen crew set. Supplied as truly plug-n-play with very adequate power provided by a 550 motor and a forward/reverse 50A electronic speed controller. Steering servo and the radio receiver are factory Installed with 4.5A 6v lead acid sealed battery and charger included. This should give upwards of an hour of running but note that it is difficult to quantify this because varying conditions and speeds can cause big variations.

This is a lovely scale replica of the classic Italian launches similar to that seen on lake Garda or in Venice. Very much a builder's model the hull is traditional plank-on-frame construction, giving you a great construtional challenge. Radio control, batteries and ESC are all required to complete this model.

The Perkasa was the lead boat of a class of four vessels built by Vosper Thornycroft in Southampton for the Royal Malaysian navy in 1967. Four others were built for the Royal Navy. The original was powered by three Rolls Royce Proteus gas turbine engines of 4250HP each, giving a maximum speed of 54 Knots. Two smaller diesel engines were used for slow speed manouevring. Armament consisted of one 40mm Bofors gun, one twin 20mm Oerlikon, anti-aircraft machine gun and four 21" torpedos on side mounts.

The model has a blow moulded hull with integral deck, giving great strength, durabilty and effectice waterproofing. The top cabin and detail parts are made of injected styrene and etched brass, which have been expertly built in the factory into an amazingly detailed representation of this powerful torpedo boat. All the hard work has already been done! Although the vast majority of the detail is already there in the model, there is still scope for the owner to add something more. If you decide to fit a third motor system to make her really scale, please remember that you will need an ESC of at least 100A and the rudders will have a reduced effect. Even the painting has been hand sprayed at the factory in authentic colours to ensure that you get a stunning model, straight out of the box.

An accurate scale model of the Royal Navy's battle cruiser of 1918. The Admiral class ships were developed during the First World War to counter the threat of the German Mackensen classes, but only HMS Hood was completed. The vessel was commissioned in 1920, while her three sister ships were cancelled and broken up. The ship was named after Admiral Samuel Hood, first Viscount Hood (1724 - 1816) The Battle of Skagerrak showed that battle cruisers were vulnerable to steeply angled artillery fire, but construction of the Hood continued despite this discouraging experience, even though the idea of developing a completely new design with improved armour was under consideration at the time.

At 1750mm in length this is a truly epic model of an epic battleship. Presented as a ready built and painted vessel in glass fibre she's almost ready for her maiden voyage, all that remains is fitting of a suitable 6 Channel radio control unit, and 6v battery. With independent rotating and elevating guns she's a wonder on the water.
