In the continued drive to improve the quality of bus services in the city ofCoventry,
Travel Coventry introduced a fleet of 10 easy access bendi buses in 2003. The Citaros
operate on one of Travel Coventrys primary bus routes, the 27 which runs between Coventry
Railway Station and the citys Walsgrave Hospital. The vehicles are fitted with
environmentally friendly Euro III engines and an eye-catching livery was designed to
highlight the longer than average bus.
The clean lines of the model accentuate the square-mounted, gasket / bonded windows and the livery application on which all logos and lettering are clearly legible. Another main feature on the model is the extensive portrayal of handrails. The headlight / indicator units at the front are made of individual components to look more realistic.
