In 1928 the Elcock family established their transport company in the heart of Coalbrookdale at Ironbridge. During the following years they acquired more coach companies and further premises from where their modern fleet of coaches now operate. Today Elcock Reisen can claim to be one of the most forward thinking passenger transport operators in Shropshire and the Midlands. They have coaches available for British and Continental Coach Holidays, corporate use, private coach hire, contract hire and group travel. Elcock Reisen have more than 30 executive and standard coaches, including the new era of Volvo Plaxton Panther and Paragon range of coaches, distinctively liveried in silver, red and gold. The company has throughout its life been a regular patron of Plaxton's of Scarborough.
