Graham Farish N BR 73158 Standard Class 5MT 4-6-0 Lined Black Late Crest BR1B Tender 372-726
A new model of the BR standard class 5MT mixed traffic 4-6-0 locomotive.

These were the BR standard version of the useful and flexible class 5 locomotives developed by the 'big four' companies, incorporating the best features of the Black 5, B1 and Hall classes, along with the standardised fittings and locomotive layout.

These 5MT locomotives were capable of undretaking a wide range of duties. Powerful enough to haul express passenger trains and fast goods trains the type were often found working trains which used secondary routes, where larger locomotives were prohibited.

This model of 73158 is paired with a BR1B type tender and finished in the BR lined black livery with later lion holding wheel crest.
DCC Ready. 6-pin decoder required for DCC operation.

Graham Farish N BR 76063 Standard Class 4MT 2-6-0 Lined Black Late Crest 372-654

A detailed model of the BR standard class 4MT 2-6-0 mogul equiped with the large Stanier-style BR1B tender. These tenders were fitted to locomotives working in areas with more limited water supply and locomotive tenders needed to hold more water to complete longer runs between stops, for example on the Southern region where there were no water troughs.

Equiped with a tender drive mechanism to provide plenty of power the locomotive body is highly detailed with many separately fitted detail parts and the lack of a motor allows the clear daylight area under the boilder to be replicated.

76063 with high-sided BR1B tender painted in the BR lined black livery with later crest.
Era 5 1957-1966. NEM coupler pockets. DCC Ready 6-pin decoder required for DCC operation.

Graham Farish N BR 90732 Vulcan WD Austerity Class 2-8-0 Black Early Emblem 372-425

A new N gauge model of the WD austerity 2-8-0 heavy goods locomotive.

These engines were built for the British War Department during WW2, having been designed to use the minimum of essential materials. Construction time and cost was reduced by the use of simplified and fabricated components in place of castings wherever possible. Many of the locomotives were used to provide logistic support for allied forces in the middle east and later in Europe following the invasion of France. Once the European railways were re-establishing themselves the British locomotives returned to the UK and a small fleet passed into British Railways ownership.

This model of 90732 carries the name Vulcan and is painted in the BR plain black livery with early lion over wheel emblem.

DCC Ready. 6-pin decoder required for DCC operation.
