The British Legion - now the Royal British Legion - was founded in 1921 to give practical help to ex-Service people and their dependants, a role it performs to this day. The first Poppy Day was held in Britain on 11 November 1921, and that day remains one of the most inportant dates in our national calendar. These four vehicles have been chosen to provide a spectrum of vehicles that served on or above the trenches on the Western Front during World War One.
