THE LAST FLIGHT - LONDON HEATHROW TO NEW YORK!

As a result of financial pressures, both British Airways and Air France decided to withdraw Concorde from their fleets. This brought the 34 year era of the one and only supersonic passenger aircraft to an end.

On 23rd October 2003, the last scheduled BA Concorde flight took off on the final to London to New York. After the last paying passengers had disembarked, the aircraft jetted back to Heathrow on the 24th with many VIPs aboard.

All seven of BA's Concorde fleet ended up in museums or as static exhibits at airports!
