Revell 1:72 Mil Mi 24-D/E Hind Model Set (64405)
The Revell 1/72 Mil Mi-24 D/E Hind Starter Set in the plastic helicopter models range accurately recreates the real life Russian ground assault helicopter. This plastic helicopter kit includes glue, a brush and all the basic paints required for the model.

The ground assault helicopter Mi-24D (Hind D) first flew in 1972. The rather heavier Mi-24V (Hind E) equipped with the SPS-24V control system for AT-6 missiles to combat armoured vehicle targets was produced between 1976 and 1986. With a weapon load of up to 2 tonnes both versions have enormous fire power. The whole of the front fuselage is armoured. The Mi-24 is therefore also known as the Flying Tank or Crocodile. So far about 2000 units in all variants have been produced, about 600 of which have been exported to 40 countries.
