The birth of the Corgi Road Collectables Road Transport range dates back to 1985 with the introduction of the Thornycroft and Renault Box Vans. Hauliers of Renown is the flagship of the range and four models are included in the Anniversary range. Each model is accompanied by a keyring featuring both???the Corgi 50th???and haulier's logo.

The Scottish representative is John Mitchell from Grangemouth, a company that is also celebrating its' 50th anniversary in 2006.The superb brand new Mercede-benz Actros has been specially commissioned and named Grange Corgi.

In the 1950's and 60's the Robson's of Carlisle fleet was dominated by Fodens and Thames Traders, together with a handful of Albions.The Foden artics and 8 wheel rigids handled the heavy work whilst the Traders coped with the lighter traffic.As with the Fodens, the Trader was used in both artic and rigid forms. The rigids were mainly a mixture of 4 wheel platform and dropsides but a number of box vans were also to be found.However this is believed to be the only Thames Trader fitted with a Luton Van body.

Van der Kwaak is a family company that was established in 1922.They are located in Hillegom, and the loco shows the famous duck.The fleet has 35 drawbar units, 20 tractor-trailer combinations. All of which have air conditioning and cargo elevators.Van der Kwaak specialise in transporting complete loads of plants, flowers or flower bulbs to all parts of Europe.

N.T.Whitfield (Transport) Ltd was formed in 1981 and is located on Portrack Lane in the heart of Stockton's industrial and Commercial sector.The silver and Marron units all have a distinctive hand painted livery to produce a very professional image.The main part of the business is UK container transport of exports and imports and containers are stored on site for several shipping lines. Pentons Haulage was formed in 1975 by the late Mr. Roy Penton and based at Ruyton in Shropshire. Pentons is a privately owned family run business now based at Owestry, Shropshire. Starting with a single vehicle the business out grew its home base and in early 1991 moved to the company's main site at Maes-Y-Clawdd Industrial Estate, Owestry. Pentons currently operate a mixed fleet of 70 units and has 100 chilled trailers available for the fleet.

Hanbury Davies Ltd was started in 1999 by former owner of Russell Davies Ltd. Glyn Davies and colleagues Ian Wilson and Philip West.The head office is based in Felixstowe and Hanbury Davies runs a mixed marque fleet of MAN, Volvo, Mercedes and Scania.In the second half of 2004 the fleet was rebranded to make it more modern and top really catch attention.Gradually the Company are replacing all 450 vehicles in the fleet with the new livery.
