Founded in 1972 by Paul Archer with an 8 wheel Foden tipper moving aggregates in the West Midlands from his base in Tamworth. The fleet gradually increased to 30 Foden tippers moving aggregates, sugar beet and coal. During the 1980's the Company began to diversift into forklift transport.Which corresponded with growth in the logistics sector.The fleet changed and Archers grew into low loaders transporting forklifts nationwide and buying Kerbaide trailers enabling low loader manufacture
