Corgi 1/76 OM46613 Corgi 60th - New Routemaster, 9 Hammersmith

The New Routemaster is a hybrid diesel-electric bus which primarily operates in central London.  Designed by Thomas Heatherwick and Wrightbus, the New Routemaster features a ‘hop-on hop-off’ rear platform, updated to meet the requirements for modern use. Route 9, seen here en route to Hammersmith, features advertising for the world famous ‘The Book of Mormon’ satirical musical by South Park creators Trey Parker and Matt Stone.  This West End smash was named Best New Musical at the 2014 Laurence Olivier Awards.
