The two vehicles featured in this kit are the Austin K.2 Ambulance and a crash tender on the Austin K.6 chassis.
Over 13,000 of the Ambulances were produced and used by the British and allied forces during World War II. The crash tender was also widely used, and had the standard four wheel drive chassis with body and equipment developed for airfield use. | |
