This is a classic model of the Alfa Romeo 155 V6 TI. The car made its debut in the 1993 season of the German Touring Car Championship (DTM) series, blowing the competition away in route to becoming that season’s champion. While the works team used the newest 1994 spec of the car in the next year’s DTM, the 1993 version was used by a number of private teams including the Schübel Engineering team. The Schubel car was adorned with the orange livery of the German liquor company called Jägermeister, and it got its German sponsor some podium time by finishing third in the final round of the season. This car - run by German outfit Schubel Engineering and sponsored by German liquor manufacturer Jagermeister - took part in the 1994 running of the famed German Touring Car Championship (DTM). The car was vastly different from its road-going cousins, with a powerful 420hp 2.5-liter V6 and full-time 4WD. Driver M. Bartels, a driver with experience at the very highest level of motorsport, piloted the car and in the final race of the season at the Hockenheimring, took a highly creditable 7th place in the first race before topping even the works 155 V6 TI cars in claiming 3rd position in the second race.

This kit builds into a fine model of the Alfa Romeo 144 V6 ti finished in the distinctive livery of Jagermeister as raced in the 1993 German Touring Car Championships. The body is elegantly captured, including such details as the agressive front spoiler, large fenders and unique rear wing. Just like on the actual car, the front cowling can be removed, allowing you to display the engine bay with powerful V6 and complex air ducts. Suspension and 4WD system are also given accurate depictions. The interior is kitted out with roll cage, pedals and other equipment for an authentic finish. High-quality Cartograf decals included.
