A 7-plank open coal wagon in the livery of the Stockingford Colliery at Atherstone, north of Coventry & Nuneaton.

Colliery owned wagons were used to deliver coal to all types of customers, most collieries using their own wagons to store coal ready for immidiate despatch. A Stockingford wagon could easily find its way to any commercial consumer or local merchant who needed 10-tons of the collierys' coal.
