Hornby R6600 00 Gauge Topham, Jones & Railton 272 4-Plank Open Wagon
Topham, Jones and Railton were a firm of contractors in London. Their wagons were painted in a bright golden ochre livery, probably as their wagons would often be seen at stations frequented by the companys' customers, or potential customers.
4-plank wagons were often used for the conveyance of stone for building construction. The lower sides helped avoid the wagons being overloaded.
