Trumpeter 1/35 Pz.KpfW IV Ausf F Fahrgestell Munitions Loader (00363)
A superb kit from Trumpeter of the munitions loader vehicle used with the huge German
guns and mortors of WW2. Built on Panzer 4 chassis a crane was fitted to lift shells from
the storage bin and align them for loading into the gun. Trumpeter have supplied 674 parts
for this unusual tank, including two machined aluminium shells, dozens of photo-etched
detailing parts including grille meshes and a choice of tracks from flexible strip for
quick assembly or individual links for maximum detail.
A total of 13 Munitionsschlepper were produced on the Pz.Kpfw.IV Ausf.D,E,and F chassis which had been acquired from the normal Pz.Kpfw.IV production run as reported in May 1941.There were two Munitionsschlepper for each of the six Geract 040 Nr.I to VI and one for the experimental Geract Nr.VII
