The gloriously colorful Friedenfels Show Truck is another genuine masterpiece by the well-known airbrush artist Walter Rosner which creates a sensation wherever it goes. The scene depicted on the Scania 144 and its refrigerated trailer is dominated by the theme of Nature which is echoed in various forms over the entire rig. Nestling between the flora and fauna are the products and logo of the Schlossbrauerei Friedenfels, a brewery located in the north of the Oberpfalz region of Bavaria. Rosner has subtly adapted the image of the bottle to the blend into the design pictured on the brightly colored truck-trailer combination. In keeping with the style he is renowned for, Rosner has paid considerable attention to the detail evident in this travelling work of art. Partially concealed behind the tall grass are a stag and fortifications of Burg Falkenberg, one of the oldest inhabited castles in Bavaria. The landscape of rock, grass and flowing water is populated by a variety of other animals, and even the community of Friedenfels itself makes an appearance.
The plans for this advertisement on a grand scale were drawn up by the Schlossbrauerei Friedenfels, and the skill and quality associated with Walter Rosner made the choice of artist an easy one. And in the trucking company run by Birgit and Jürgen Schmid, the brewery has found a dependable operator who will take good care of the multicolored supertruck.
