more | Italeri 1/24 Renault 5 Rally No 3695 Italeri (3695) For the 1977 Rally season the French company Renault developed a racing version of the popular small R5. In spite of the fact that this car was designed for very different scopes, after adequate preparation, the French technicians managed to obtain notable power from the engine: 150CV, and a noteworthy drive ration, which thanks to the contained weight of only 800 Kg. made the R5 a very manoeuvrable and fast car. The R5 obtained great results in the Sanremo and Montecarlo Rallies in 1978 and successively gratifying results in the Acropolis Rally and in Africa.

more | Italeri 1/24 Stratos HF WRC (3693) The Lancia Stratos was undoubtedly the most important sports car of the 70s. The first version of this futuristic car - the result of the design genius of Nuccio Bertone - was presented in 1970 at the Car Show in Turin. Thanks to its streamlined body and powerful engine, the Stratos was immediately chosen as the successor to the famous Fulvia HF. Just two years later the definitive version appeared: this featured the engine of the Ferrari Dino 246 GT, a 250 HP 6-cylinder 2400 cc V that would give the car a top speed of 230 kph. In 1973 the Stratos made its racing debut, immediately winning the Firestone Rally and the Tour de France. The following years saw the success rate climb steeply, with Sandro Munari taking three consecutive world championship rally titles in’74, ’75 and ’76. These were the years that made the Stratos a legend – a legend that endures to the present day and that enthusiasts can re-live thanks to this perfect scale reproduction.
