Heljan OO BR D1040 Western Queen C-C Diesel Hydraulic Maroon Small Warning Panels (5218)


A superbly detailed model by Heljan with excellent pulling power delivered from a centrally mounted motor in a heavy die-cast chassis. The bodyshell features many fine moulded details, right down to the latches and hinges where appropriate on louvre grills and sandbox fillers. Seperate wire handrails are factory fitted, but many optional detailing parts are supplied including the front skirt and side panels, alternative buffer beams, dummy coupling hook with screw coupling, brake rigging and etched cabside steps.

This model of D1040 Western Queen is painted in the popular maroon livery with small yellow warning panels.
