Bachmann OO BR D823 Hermes Class 42 Warship Plain Green Late Crest (32-052A)


Built in Swindon the class 42 Warships were a scaled down version of Germanys V200 diesel hydraulic class designed to fit within our British loading gauge for service on the Western region.

The Bachmann model features a heavy diecats chassis and a powerful centrally mounted motor driving both bogies. These model locomotives are capable of excellent smooth, slow running and prodigious feets of train haulage.

D823 Hermes is painted in the early BR locomotive plain green livery.

DCC Ready. 21-pin decoder required for DCC operation.
