Next, you can learn the fundamental techniques you'll need to paint any miniature, especially those from The Lord of The Rings range of Games Workshop models. Once you've mastered these basic skills, you can go through all of the step-by-step painting guides. We cover each member of The Fellowship, as well as Moria Goblins and the dreaded Cave Troll. Lastly, everyone likes looking at a few painted models for reference while painting, so we have included a miniatures gallery with detailed pictures of the models
The Gaming Section of the new Mines of Moria website includes a huge amount of content that players will enjoy. To get new players started, there are several articles that discuss how to set up a tabletop for strategy battle games. Also covered are the basic sequence of play, as well as how to read a statistics profile for your warriors.

After you have a feel for the game, you can test your gaming prowess with four scenarios of increasing difficulty that allow you to relive some of your favourite parts of The Fellowship of The Ring. After you've played the scenarios individually, you are shown how to link them together in a series, where the results from one game affect the next. Lastly, this section includes a battle report that shows you how two other players fared with these scenarios.
