Long-Legged Ostrich's Walking Style Realistically Rendered
Tamiya presents its next Robocraft Series item, the 2-leg walking-type Mechanical Ostrich. Motor rotating power is transferred to the legs via crank plates to make the ostrich walk. Legs and body on which the gearbox is mounted employ transparent-colored parts, giving the ostrich a funky look. Reverse switch is also transparent, giving you a peek at the ostrich's internal mechanisms. Assembly is very simple with use of screws and snap-lock parts.
Crank Plate
Motor rotating power is transferred to the legs via crank plates to make the ostrich walk.
Well Studied Weight Balance
Battery and motor placement has been well researched to obtain optimum weight balance.
Clear Type Switch
Clear switch with blue transparent parts adds a cool, futuristic look.
Walking the Ostrich
