Ripmax Firebird XL, virtually ready to fly electric model with a wingspan of 40 inches. Easy to complete the build. Flight times of over 15 minutes achievable - climb and glide within a 500 feet range. Supplied with radio control unit, mains and dc chargers. Requires only (8) AA batteries for the radio control handset to complete and get into the air. Its a lightweight model and quite stable in gusty conditions but note that if a steady breeze is blowing its best not to fly it downwind - you may lose it. An ideal way to start remote control flying.
