This kit is simply stunning, which is par for the course for a Wing-Tech kit. Careful engineering has resulted in precise detail and easy assembly for modellers of all skill levels. Every detail is accurately presented in plastic and some parts such as the pilots seatbelt are included as photo-etched items for superior realism. DS is also used for the landing-gear compartment in order to provide the necessary level of detail. To keep modellers happy and to give them a wide choice, a total of five different marking options are available in the form of high-quality Cartograf decals. This is a fine kit of an iconic German fighter is packed with detail just bursting to get out of the box and take to the air!

The silhouette of the Messerschmitt Bf109 is an unforgettable one. The 109 formed the backbone of the Luftwaffe throughout WWII. Its first operational service was in the Spanish Civil War and the Bf109 holds the distinction of being the most produced fighter in history. Nearly 34,000 fighters were produced up till April 1945. A range of variants were developed, with the E being the first major redesign. The features that distinguished the E ( Emil ) model included a more powerful (& heavier) Daimler-Benz DB 601 engine, two MG FF cannons and larger fuel tanks. The E-4 version participated widely in the Battle of Britain and this is the fighter sub-type presented in Warbird s brand new 1/32 scale Wing-Tech kit.
