The first production version of the British Challenger tank was delivered in March 1983 and is now in use in the British army.It is equipped with a 120mm gun with raised barrel and has modern special armour. With a 1,200 hp motor the Challenger reaches a speed of 56 km/h, crew: 4 men, combat weight:62 tons.
