With its astoundingly detailed assembly, attractive paint scheme, and realistic weathering, this collector’s item is certain to be sought after the world over. more | Dragon Armor 1/35 German Sd.Kfz.184 Elefant 1./s.Pz.Abt.653 Self Propelled Gun (61004) Which brings us to the matter of Dragon’s fantastic fully built-up Elefant. This 1/35 scale model represents an Elefant serving with 1./s.Pz.Abt.653 in Italy in 1944. This is Dragon’s very first pre-assembled plastic Elefant with some metal parts and much effort has gone into investing this collectors’ item with all the relevant Elefant characteristics. The impressive model is beautifully finished in a two-tone camouflage scheme, enhanced by a subtle degree of weathering. The tracks are accurate and have the appropriate level of sag, plus the tow cables possess an extremely realistic metallic look. There are also working features such as a rotating frontal machine gun and a main gun barrel that elevates and depresses. These details all add up to one stunning pre-assembled 1/35 tank destroyer from Dragonmore..

more | Dragon Armor 1/35 Tiger I Early Production "Michael Wittmann" 13./Pz.Rgt.1, Operation "Zitadelle" July 1943 (61006) In a fully built-up 1/35 scale model, Dragon presents a Tiger I Early Production variant as used by Wittmann during Operation Zitadelle in July 1943. The Battle of Kursk is itself legendary, as 2700 German tanks slugged it out against 3600 Soviet tanks in the world’s largest armorued battle. New tanks such as the Panther and Elefant made their combat debut at Kursk, but it was the experienced Tiger that provided real bite to the attack. This release is also the very first Early Production variant to feature in the Dragon Armor series. The tank is expertly painted in a two-colour camouflage scheme that perfectly mimics the original vehicle. It carries the markings of 13./Pz.Rgt.1, of which Wittmann was a platoon commander. Details on this tank are stunningly replicated, from the muzzle of the powerful 8.8cm gun to the rear exhaust and from the track treads to the turret top! An appropriate amount of weathering has been achieved through some masterful dry brushing. This fine model from Dragon combines the legend of the Tiger with the legend of Wittmann!more..
more | Dragon Armor 1/35 King Tiger Porsche Turret w/Zimmerit s.Pz.Abt.503 Mailly Le Camp August 1944 (61007) he German Army’s s.Pz.Abt. 503 was the first operational unit to receive the impressive new Tiger II in late May 1944. It arrived in Normandy the following month with 12 of these powerful King Tiger tanks to counter the Allied landings. They first saw action on 11th July 1944, the unit was decimated in the ensuing tough fighting against the Allies and by the time it was withdrawn from the frontline, s.Pz.Abt. 503 had just two operational tanks remaining. The latest item in the Dragon Armor 1/35 scale series is a King Tiger from 3./s.Pz.Abt. 503. The miniature represents a Tiger II fighting at Mailly le Camp in France in August 1944. The new Porsche turret is the first such Dragon ready made 1:35th scale to receive it. The streamlined turret lends this model an air of uniqueness. A zimmerit coating has been applied to the hull and turret.more..
more | Dragon Armor 1/35 King Tiger Henschel Turret w/Zimmerit s.Pz.Abt.506 Ardennes 1945 (61008) Officially named the Panzerkampfwagen VI Ausf. B, the King Tiger was a formidable German tank weighing 69.8 tons. Entering production in mid-1944, it was armed with an 8.8cm KwK 43 L/71 gun and its frontal armor was up to 180mm thick. With such assets, this tank could easily prey on its less well-armed Allied opponents. However, its bulk and underpowered engine meant it wasn’t as effective in offense. Dragon Armor has launched a fantastic new fully built-up 1/35 scale model of a King Tiger. This is the very first Henschel production version of the King Tiger to feature in the larger-scale Dragon Armor range. The actual vehicle it is based on was a tank of sPzAbt 506 that fought in the Battle of the Bulge in the Ardennes in December 1944. Interestingly, this was the only Heer Tiger battalion to participate in the winter offensive. This version has a full coat of zimmerit on the hull and turret, which has been carefully and realistically crafted and textured to scale.
more | Dragon Armor 1/35 GERMAN 60cm MORSER "ZIU" SELF-PROPELLED SUPER HEAVY MORTAR (61009) Dragon Armor have announced a mightily impressive 1/35 scale model of the sixth Morser Super-Heavy Mortar to be built, which was named “Ziu”. This particular gun “Ziu”, was famously employed in the Warsaw Uprising in 1944. The model is fully assembled and pre-painted and is ready for immediate display…as long as collectors can clear enough space for it! It constitutes an impressive model thanks to its sheer size and bulk though fortunately it doesn’t weigh nearly as much as the original mortar! This Dragon Armor item is full of intricate detail and it is presented in firing mode with the chassis lowered. The three-colour camouflage scheme is particularly well done and represents the work of true craftsmen. As a special bonus, a huge shell is included with this assembled model, which gives a sense of the sheer scale of this weapon. The real gun could attain a rate of fire of only six rounds per hour and its strategic success was limited at best but as a model, this 1/35 scale “Ziu” is unbeatable in its “shock and awe” effect!
more | Dragon Armor 1/35 German 60cm Morser LOKI Self-Propelled Siege Mortar (61012) There has been a very strong response from collectors to Dragon’s series of fully built-up 1/35 scale models and the latest addition is a replica of the original Karl mortar system. more | Dragon Armor 1/35 King Tiger Henschel Turret w/Zimmerit s.Pz.Abt.506 Ardennes 1945 (61018) Dragon Armor is offering a fine new 1/35 scale model of a King Tiger from s.Pz.Abt. 506 as it appeared during bitter fighting at Arnhem. This model features a Porsche turret, rather than the more common Henschel production turret that was fitted to later tanks. The curvaceous turret lends this King Tiger a graceful yet purposeful air and all details on this model are fully represented. Of special note is the delicately rendered coat of zimmerit produced using Dragon’s special patented pre-injection molding techniques. The vehicle is finished in a three-colour camouflage scheme that shows to full advantage the powerful and aggressive aspect of this German tank. Dragon’s highest quality engineering and design expertise, plus expert painting and weathering, have resulted in a museum-standard model for avid military collectors.more..

This Tiger I bears the famous “charging knight on horseback” insignia of s.Pz.Abt 505, this insignia being delicately rendered using the pad-painting process. The model is expertly finished off with a tasteful level of dry-brushing and weathering, even down to its individual track links. more..
more | Dragon Armor 1/35 German Tiger1 Late Production Pz.Abt.301 Koln Germany 1945 (61020) It took 300,000 man hours to produce just one Tiger I tank (approximately double that required for a Panther), but what a tank it was! Its two principal strengths were its main gun, an 8.8cm KwK 36 L/56 and its armour of rolled homogenous nickel-steel plate. Responding to popular demand, Dragon Armor has announced another spectacular fully built-up Tiger I tank in 1/35 scale. This new arrival is a Late Production variant, meaning it has characteristic features like steel road wheels and a monocular sight in the mantlet to the right of the gun barrel. This amazing model shows tank number 213 of Pz.Abt.301. more..
