finished in bright red, racing seats with fine scale seat belts,detailed dash panel, opening doors, opening bonnet reveals suspension and spare wheel, engine cover opens to show the fine detailed engine, model length 23.5cm.

The one and only Ford GT40 Mk II Roadster, often referred to as "X-1", was imported from England on a race-and-return basis. Handed over to Shelby American it had a brief but glorious career: one race, one outright victory. Sadly, the Roadster was relegated to the history books when the customs men confronted Shelby. They demanded that the car be destroyed or the import duties paid! In 1970 the "old race car" was cut into pieces and buried at nearby Los Angeles construction site as the officials looked on.
