Roy Salvadori raced for the factory teams of Cooper, Aston Martin, Vanwall, BRM and Connaught. He also drove F1 Ferrari Maserati, Cooper - Maserati and Connaught for private entrants. His best result in the FIA F1 World Championship was 4th position in 1958. He has established outright or Class records for every circuit he has raced on in England and has won 98 races during his career, including the 1959 Le Mans in an Aston Martin, co driving with Carroll cars were entered in the 25 laps GT Trophy race on the twisting, undulating circuit at Oulton Park. They were entrusted to Graham Hill and Roy Salvadori, who were up against competition Ferraris and Aston Martins. The two E-types led until Salvadori experienced brake trouble and was passed by Grand Prix driver Innes Ireland in a DB4 GT Aston Martin. Try as he might, Ireland could not pass Hill who used all his skills to fend off the Aston and the three finished in close formation. It was a brilliant victory first time out and unassailable proof of the E-type's prowess.

Peter embarked on a driving career as early as 11 years old. His first move into cars came in 1993 when he competed in the Jim Russell Racing School at Donnington Park. Peter progressed into Formula Vauxhall Junior Here, he dominated the championship taking eight wins on his way to becoming overall champion. Between 1995 and 1996, Peter advanced up to Formula Vauxhall driving for Jackie Stewart’s team he took 10 wins becoming ultimate series champion. 1997 saw Peter continuing with Jackie Stewart’s team, he moved in to Formula 3. 1999 saw Peter contracted for Mercedes-Benz to race in their high-profile Le-Mans project whilst still competing in Formula Nippon, (Japans equivalent to Formula 3000). Peter spectacular Le-Mans crash (caused by aero dynamic instabilities) has been well documented, earning him front page coverage of national newspapers and various television interviews. For the next five years Peter joined the DTM (Deutsche Tourenwagn Masters) Championship, continuing his link with Mercedes-Benz and later joining Opel. A third place in the 2001 championship and race victories in Sachsenring and Lausitzring were his highlights.

The Dakar Rally (or simply "The Dakar"; formerly known as "The Paris Dakar Rally" and now as "The Lisbon Dakar Rally") is an annual off-road race, organised by the Amaury Sport Organisation. The race is open to amateur and professional entries; amateurs typically make up about eighty percent of the participants.Despite its name, it is an off-road endurance race rather than a conventional rally – the terrain the competitors traverse is much tougher and the vehicles used are true off-road vehicles rather than the modified sedans used in rallies. Most of the competitive specials are off-road, crossing dunes, mud, camel grass, rocks.

Kurt Thiim is a Danish racing driver. His first success came in the Kartsport.In 1978 he changed to Auotomobil racing. Starting in Formula Ford he then went to Formula Super V and then Formula 3. After winning the German Formula-3-Masters in1984 Thiim tried for a drive in Formula 3000 or Formula 1. unfortunately this did not happen so he went the route of sports cars. At this time the DTM represented private teams only. The large work teams of Mercedes, BMW, Opel or Alfa Romeo, who many people connected with the DTM, had not put in an appearance In the following years DTM became a pure works championship. Kurt Thiim remained active during this development as a driver and belonged from 1988 to 1997 to Mercedes. To the end of the DTM/ITC Thiim changed first into the super route car Cup (STW). Beginning in this time to become active as CO moderator with engine haven transmissions It started in the V8STAR.

Round 10 of the FIA World Rally Championship 1976. Started in Bath on the 27th November and finished on 30th November. The rally was run over 3248km including 504km over 76 gravel with some asphalt special stages. 200 teams started the event with only 71 finishing.B.Culcheth and J.Syer finished in 9th place.

British Leyland ran a team of TR7s in rally competition from 1976 to 1980. These cars used the 16 valve Dolomite Sprint or Rover V8 engine and had disc brakes on all four wheels. They were reasonably successful on tarmac events but did not do well on off road sectionsRoger Clark competed on the 1980 RAC Rally in the TR7 for the British Leyland Works Team. It was to be the last rally in whch he competed as a works driver.

AMG or Aufrecht Melcher Großaspach was founded in 1967 as AMG Motorenbau und Entwicklungsgesellschaft mbH (AMG Engine Production and Development, Ltd.) by former Mercedes engineers Hans-Werner Aufrecht and Erhard Melcher in a town near Stuttgart called Großaspach."AMG" is an acronym that stands for: Hans Werner Aufrecht (A) and Eberhard Melcher (M) were partners, while Aufrecht’s birthplace of Großaspach (G) supplied the third letter in the company name.

The pedigree of the diminutive T15 suggested that is was never going to be a race winner. Its small 1.5 litre supercharged 4 cylinder engine was only capable of 195bhp , forcing the car to be content by playing the role of grid filler.
