The model that is coming out to celebrate the 50th anniversary is decorated with symbolic representations of the important events of 1955. These include pictures the then Federal Chancellor Konrad Adenauer, the "Nautilus" submarine, the UN flag that marked international recognition of the Federal Republic of Germany and also the red and white club emblem of Essen, the 1955 German champion football team. Further information on the individual symbols can be found inside the packing.
