A model of the Robinson design Director class 4-4-0 locomotives, built for the Great Central Railway. Originally created around 1916 for express passenger duties. The class was expanded further under LNER ownership as the design proved suitable for the former North British lines. This model of 62677 Edie Ochiltree is painted in the later British Railways black livery with lion holding wheel crest.
