7903 Foremarke Hall.
Completed in April 1949 7903 was sent new to Old Oak Common shed, still being shown on the London shed in 1950 and 1959.
The locomotive was withdrawn from Cardiff East Dock shed, though this was probably a 'paper' allocation. Cardiff's main shed at Canton closed to steam in 1962 prior to reconstrcution to service the new diesel hydraulic locomotives. The Canton steam locomotive allocation was transferred to East Dock, a small shed providing shunting locomotives for the docks. Getting a fleet of mainline locomotives into East Dock shed would have been challenging and Cardiff enthusiasts say the shed never saw anything larger than a tank engine!

Following withdraw 7903 was sold to Woodham Brothers and moved to their Barry yard in August 1964. The locomotive remained there until June 1981, when Formarke Hall was purchased for use on the Swindon & Cricklade railway, moving to Blunsdon via a Swindon works open day, the 129th locomotive rescued from Barry.
Restoration work was completed in September 2003, in time for the Swindon lines' 25th Anniversary.
The Swindon & Cricklade remains a small operation and 7903 has been a regular locomotive on the nearby and longer Gloucestershire Warwickshire Railway where the capabilities of a large 4-6-0 are more ably demonstrated.
