Dragon Armor 1/72 SDKFZ Stug IV Early Production (60069)
The StuG IV mounted a 75mm StuK40 gun in a Saukopfblende mantlet that was introduced in February 1944. These 23-ton armored vehicles were issued to StuG brigades or assault gun detachments, and were employed as either tank hunters or assault guns. Dragon Armor s new item portrays an early production variant of the StuG IV that served with StuG Brigade 912 in Courland, 1944, on the Eastern Front. The 1/72 model has a three-tone camouflage pattern typical of this stage of the war, and it has been masterfully reproduced here. All the vehicle s details are present, including the machine gun, on-vehicle tools and side skirt brackets.
