Dragon's expanding range of superb detailed models made in plastic for maximum detail definition and some metal parts. Finished in authentic camouflage schemes, tracks are one piece rubber giving a good effect and comes in its own plastic display box inside a cardboard outer. Most have rotable turrets and a gun that elevates. Fine detail incudes ropes, shackles and tools carried on the chassis, plus smoke dischargers, machine guns and external petrol tanks appropriate for the model. Best of all these models are pre-painted with sharp, accurate and authentic camouflage and realistic weathering.

Dragon Armor 1/72 Soviet SU-100 7th Mechanized Corps Hungary 1945 (60299)
The first model of the SU100 self propelled Gun from Dragon
The SU-100 was used extensively in the last year of World War 2, particularly in fighting in Hungary when Soviet forces defeated the German offensive at Lake Balaton (code named Frulingserwachen by the Germans). It's powerful D-10S 100mm gun could penetrate 1255mm of vertical armour at distances up to 2000mm, sufficient to kill even the heaviest of Germany Panzers. Dragon Armor s latest 1/72 item is a Soviet SU-100 representing a tank destroyer of the 7th Mechanized Corps in Hungary in 1945. The model is attractively presented with its white snow camouflage over the standard Russian green paint. In keeping with the SU-100 s wintry service, the lower hull and fenders are weathered with a realistic covering of mud. The result is a vehicle that looks like it s just rolled off a muddy battlefield! Detail on this model is sharp, while the shape is accurately formed. This SU-100 is ready to join the battle and destroy enemy tanks
