Dragon are steadily expanding this range of superb models, crafted in plastic for maximum detail definition with some metal parts and finished in authentic camouflage schemes. Tracks are one piece rubber but give a good effect. Nicely boxed - good plastic display box inside a cardboard outer. Model length is about 4 1/2" (115mm) - based on Tiger 1. Most have rotable turrets and a gun that elevates. Fine detail incudes ropes, shackles and tools carried on the chassis, plus smoke dischargers, machine guns and external petrol tanks appropriate for each model. Best of all these models are pre-painted with sharp, accurate and authentic camouflage and realistic weathering.

The model represents a tank fighting on the Eastern Front in 1943, though the unit is unidentified. As it’s fighting in the winter, it has received a rather haphazard and quick wash of white paint from its crew. There are other particular production features such as the handrail along the top of the hull and the early production rubber-tired pressed steel wheels. Thanks primarily to its cast-turret, this particular model has a quite different look to its Dragon Armor brethren. It will also stand out in any collection thanks to its novel paint scheme of worn whitewash. This tank is ready to play in the snow!
