OO Passenger Coaches & Goods Wagons

The national British Railways section of the British Transport Commission took control of the railway network on the 1st of January 1948. Deciding on a livery for passenger carriages of crimson and cream for express train coaches and plain crimson for suburban and branch line trains this livery was applied to the coaches inherited from the 'Big Four' companies as overhauls were due.
British Railways new standard design 'Mark 1' coaches began to enter service from 1951 painted in this livery scheme.

All British OO coaches and wagons run on standard HO/OO track and are equiped with compatible tension lock couplings. Coaches and wagons from all manufacturers listed in this section will run and couple together without difficulty.
