This set features Midland Compound type 4-4-0 number 1000, one of the Midland Railways premier express engines, hauling a train of three early LMS corridor coaches painted in the fully lined Midland red livery.
An oval of track is supplied along with a mains-powered DC speed controller.
Bachmann track is fully compatible with the Peco Setrack range, allowing a layout to be expanded easily.
