The Southern Railway repainted two of their N class locomotives into the green passenger livery specially for the Thanet Flyer express as the railway tried to refresh the image of the railway and restart leisure travel after WW2. The two engines carried their special livery into the early British Railways era and looked very impressive at the front of the matching coaches.
