All 00/HO track is a standard 16.5mm gauge. Code 100 rail is used except for fine scale track that uses a smaller code 75 or code 83 rail section. The rail is made from nickel silver metal, gving excellent electrical conductivilty and corrosion resistence even when used outdoors.
Bachmann, Hornby and Peco track sections can be used together and share similar geometry. Flexible track by Hornby and Peco allows you to create sweeping curves, while the Peco Streamline range features larger radius points giving the track a more realistic appearance.  Note that the Streamline point lengths and angles are different to sectional (Hornby or Bachmann) track geometry, mixing the two systems can cause difficulty. Peco setrack, however, is interchangable with Horby or bachmann track.
