| > Bravo Delta Desktop Display Models | Bravo Delta Models are exceptional museum quality and faithfully reproduced in kiln dried Mahogany. Each is carved, joined and sanded by hand. The deep, rich finish that distinguishes these models from others is created by the application of up to 35 coats of enamel. The artist then hand paints all of the details onto each model. The final product is a beautifully authentic model which is fully built and finished and packed in a strong shipping carton.
Every model has its own desk stand. All the propellers are made of wood and will rotate. Some of the jets have movable swing wings, also made of wood.
Models in stock are listed, many of those that aren't are available within 7 to 10 days. Special order items cost about £275.00 each and take at least 4 months, often 6, to arrive. Enquire to gm@antics.ltd.uk.
A brass finish nameplate is available for each model.

Boasting an unusual history - dropping bombs to protect the environment and another limited edition aircraft in our Fleet Air Arm series - Buccaneer S1 of 800 Naval Air Squadron, Lossiemouth. It took part in two attacks on the Torrey Canyon on the 28th and 30th March 1967.
It will be a superb model, measuring 15 - 16" (approx 39cm) in length and will carry the livery worn in 1967.

XV156 was later attached to 809 Squadron on HMS Eagle and subsequently converted to an S2 version for the RAF.
The very large crude carrier Torrey Canyon ran onto the Seven Sisters reef off Lands End on the 18th March 1967. In order to burn off the oil and minimise environmental damage, Hunters, Buccaneers and Sea Vixens launched a series of attacks that eventually saw the vessel destroyed and made the evening news very entertaining at the time. | |
