These terms and conditions below will not affect your statutory rights which will take preference if these conditions are found to unreasonably restrict any statutory right.
In all cases of dispute the law of England and Wales shall apply to all contracts.

Making A Purchase All Prices shown on antics websites are in UK Pounds Sterling and include VAT at the current rate of 20%. 

This price will apply for all sales with delivery addresses within the European Union (EU).

VAT can be deducted for items being exported from the EU. This is applied automatically for delivery to addresses outside of the EU, if you are departing from or posting the item onward from the EU to a non-EU country within 3 months of the delivery and this will be a permanent export please advise us in writing using the notes box on the checkout screen. We can then adjust the prices before despatching the products.

If you are shopping from Europe, North America or elsewhere prices can be displayed in Euros or US dollars by clicking on the currency symbol. Please note that these prices are estimates only, all orders are processed in UK pounds sterling and your final charge in your local currency will be based on the exchange rates plus any currency change surcharge made by your bank or payment card issuer on the day.

We accept most major credit and debit cards carrying the VISA and Mastercard logos, plus American Express cards. Payment is authorised on receipt of order.

We regret that we are no longer able to accept cheques.

Paypal payments are accepted from worldwide locations. Use of Paypal service is subject to Paypals' terms and conditions and acceptable use policies. Please be aware that Paypal will charge for your order in full on your instruction and will send your payment confirmation. This is also your order confirmation.

Items out of stock and placed on back order will be credited on request.

Please ensure that your Full Postal Address is placed on your order, failure to do so, may delay your order.

Due to the need to forward order many items the terms and conditions of many suppliers permit them to increase prices, allocate, cancel or supply short orders without notice.
We will endeavour to honour and supply all orders at the originally expected price, however this may not be possible on every occasion. We will contact you before charging in the event of any price increases.
Due to these potential changes in all instances the contract of supply shall not come into force until we till your order for despatch to you.

Limitation of liability
Antics liability to you in case of loss, damage, or failure of supply for any order shall be limited to the total payment made by you for your order, plus any costs incurred by you for the return of products where appropriate under the distance selling regulations. Antics shall have no liability for consequential cost or loss arising from products not being supplied or being received in a damaged condition, or for products supplied from other retailers.

Please Note.
Royal Mail do not accept shipments containing some products and have a maximum package size which will not accommodate some products.
This affects aerosol cans, some liquid products, many solvent-based products, rocket motors, caps for cap guns, nitro fuel, model railway track, aircraft wings and wood sheets. (other products may be affected by restrictions) 
Items which are not accepted by Royal Mail are automatically sent by courier.

Deliveries to England & Wales
Deliveries within England and Wales are made by Royal Mail parcel service or UK Mail (formerly Business Post) for large or high value items and for products which are not accepted for delivery by Royal Mail.
Delivery should be expected within 3 days of despatch from our warehouse. Most courier deliveries and many Royal Mail deliveries are made on the following working day between 9am and 6pm.
Some small items can be sent at a reduced rate of £2.50 where, once packed, the item will fit within the Royal Mail letter rate limits. Reduced rates are restricted to small quantities.
Orders over £150.00 total value are sent free of extra shipping charges within mainland England and Wales. We will endeavour to send free to Scotland (highlands) and islands where this can be done at standard rates.

Deliveries to Scotland, Isle of Man, Northern Ireland, Channel Islands, other islands
Deliveries to Scotland will be charged at the same rates as for England and Wales, excepting as below.
Deliveries to Northern Ireland, Isle of Man, Channel Islands, Scottish Islands and other islands will be charged a basic £5.00 shipping rate.
Please be aware that some destinations may incur additional delivery charges, especially by courier service. We will send deliveries to these destinations by Royal Mail where normal postal rate services are available and will endeavour to minimise additional charges.
We reserve the right to require settlement of any additional charges or surcharges incurred for delivery, particularly for large or heavy items and items which are not accepted by Royal Mail, before despatching your order.
We will contact you to advise any additional charges before despatching your order, such that you will have the option to settle the additional charges, or make alternative arrangements for delivery, or cancel your order if you wish. We regret that if we are unable to agree and settle shipping costs with you then we will consider your order cancelled and refund any payments taken.

Overseas Destinations - Outside of the United Kingdom
There is a minimum shipping charge of £5.00 for all overseas orders. This covers many small items which can be sent to European destinations within this rate.
We request quotes from several carriers for items exceeding the maximum size or weight that can be shipped within the £5.00 rate to obtain the best rates available for a shipment. In some cases we may need to assemble your full order before we are able to correctly determine the size and weight for shipment. Please advise on your order or contact us if you would like part shipments to be sent, in such cases we will request payment of shipping charges for each package despatched.
We will email you to advise of any additional shipping costs and request settlement of this charge before despatch of your order, such that you will have the option to settle the shipping charges, or make alternative arrangements for delivery, or cancel your order if you wish. We regret that if we are unable to agree and settle shipping costs with you then we will consider your order cancelled and refund any payments taken.

Delivery to Europe and for most airmail packages is normally expected to take 5-7 working days, please allow 2 calendar weeks for most deliveries.

 VAT, Import Duty & Customs Charges

Anticsonline prices include VAT (Value Added Tax) at the current United Kingdom rate of 20%. VAT is payable by residents of all European Union countries, excepting where UK Customs & Excise permit exemptions from VAT.
Customers residing outside of the EU and in locations were exemption is permitted will have the VAT payment deducted from their order, or refunded if this is charged by default.

Antics prices do not include customs or import duty, customs clearance charges or any local taxation levied on a shipment after delivery to your country. You will be liable for settlement of any of these charges to the authorities in your own country. Some countries require that we supply a customer id or tax number as a condition of accepting the shipment. In such cases we will not ship orders unless the information required by the customs services is made available.
Antics will always declare a fair and true value on the contents of the packages shipped and shall under no circumstances be liable for any charges made by the authorities or officials of the destination country, nor for any consequential loss or inconvenience resulting from the action of the authorities of your country.

For each product, we show you the quantity of stock available at the Warehouse. Also shown is the next Warehouse delivery date of new stock where applicable.

This information is automatically updated when anyone places a web order.

Back ordered items are not charged until stock is available. 

Delivery Problems, Right of Cancellation & Returns Policy

We send a packing note with all shipments from our website warehouse.

Please check that any package received is in good external condition and refuse any package which is presented for signature in an obviously damaged state. Please check that the items shown on the packing note are contained in the package received as soon as possible after delivery.

We wish to achieve customer satisfaction with all of our orders. We can arrange to repair, replace, exchange or refund a newly delivered product if it is not satisfactory for any reason.

In the first instance please contact us as quickly as possible, and at the latest within 7 days of receiving the product to advise us of any issues arising.

If you require to return a defective product please contact us first such that we will be aware of the difficulty and can make arrangements to reserve or obtain a replacement.

Returned items to the above address should be sent by the cheapest rate with signature required. Your local post office will be able to advise on the best rate available for this. If you have difficulty arranging return, or a high cost is incurred please contact us to arrange for the item to be collected by courier. Please include a covering letter stating your order number, name, address and request for action required regarding the returned items such that our returns department can deal with your order as quickly as possible.

You will need to pay for the return postage cost. Where a model is found to be defective under the terms of warranty the cost of return postage will be refunded to you. We can arrange collection by courier of large and bulky items, the costs of this will be deducted from any refund due.


Products which are faulty due to manufacturing defect or damage occurring prior to delivery can be replaced or your purchase can be refunded. If we cannot supply a replacement product we will repair the product where this is practical.

We regret that we cannot offer a refund for products which are regarded as consumables, this includes :


Rubber bands

Some RC car parts, which are designed to fail before more serious damage occurs

We do not offer a refund or replacement for parts which have been damaged due to use or miss-use where there is no evidence that the damage has resulted from a pre-existing fault.

Radio controlled products returned as faulty will be examined on receipt. Antics will endeavour to repair and rectify any faults in the product. If the fault or repair parts required are not covered by manufacturers warranty we will contact you to agree the work to be carried out.

Where a refund is requested for radio controlled products reported as faulty by having been used the product will be sent for examination by the manufacturer or manufacturers’ agents in the UK to determine the cause of the fault. Antics will not make any refund until the advise of the manufacturer or manufacturers agents has been sought.

In all cases our maximum possible refund payment shall be the total order payment made by yourself plus the cost of return postage incurred up to a maximum of the Royal Mail Standard Parcel rate plus any additional signature recording charge. We do not refund payment for any additional services (eg. Special delivery or insurance premiums) unless such service and cost has been specifically agreed with us in advance. No payment or refund will be made for, but not limited to, disappointment, time lost or any consequential loss of any form whatsoever.

Rights of Cancellation

You are able to cancel the contract of supply for any reason during the time prior to shipment and for 7 days following delivery of your products.

You must contact us by telephone,  email or letter to give notice of your wish to cancel within this cancellation period.

If you contact us by email on we will normally send a confirmation on the next working day. If you do not receive any reply or confirmation from us please telephone to ensure that your email has been received and understood.

Please be aware that you are required to take all reasonable measures to ensure that products are stored appropriately and safely and ensure that no further damage occurs to the model or product while it is in your possession or care.

Limitation of right of cancellation

The Distance Selling Regulations Right of Cancellation is intended to allow you, the customer, adequate time to examine a product after it has been delivered and before accepting the product. This replaces your ability in a retail shop to examine goods before committing yourself to purchase the item you have been shown. You may open external packaging and examine the contents, please retain all retail packaging as this will be needed if you wish to return the product. Due to the nature of some products there are some limitations on the right of cancellation

Specially Ordered or Commissioned Items

Specially ordered or commissioned products may be subject to a limitation to your rights of cancellation or refund payable. We will endeavour to limit the loss to yourself where items can be offered for sale, however we reserve the right to require payment of costs incurred prior to cancellation which we cannot recover.

Acceptance before Use

It is reasonable to conclude that you have accepted products below before you have commenced to use the product under the circumstances described.

Please examine these products carefully before commencing to use them, as these will not be accepted for cancellation after use.

In particular

Radio Controlled Models, eg. cars, boats and aircraft

It is reasonable to believe that you have accepted the product if you have started to use the product. Please examine the product carefully on delivery, if you have concerns about the product please contact us, we have several staff with extensive knowledge of RC products who will be able to advise you.

Radio controlled models, particularly fuel engined models, will not be accepted for refund after the model have been used or engine has been started.

Self-Assembly Kits

It is reasonable to believe that you have accepted the product before you have commenced to construct it. You may open sealed packages (eg. Bags) to verify that all parts are present, however if you wish to cancel self-assembly products these must be received back as delivered, ie. unassembled.

Self-assembly model kits where assembly has been started will not be accepted under cancellation.

Your rights to expect goods to be as described, of appropriate quality and guaranteed against manufacturing defects are not affected.

Please be aware that this guarantee covers you against manufacturing faults or defects. Accidental damage is not covered by warranty and models showing evidence of crash damage will not be accepted for cancellation and refund. These models will be repaired, such repairs may be charged to you before the model is returned.

Returning Items Cancelled After Delivery

Items which have been received and rejected by yourself should be returned to us complete with the retail packaging and all accessories supplied, including any accessories supplied by Antics free of charge as part of a bundle or promotion.

The law places upon you the obligation to take due care in the storage and packaging of products you wish to cancel or return.

Please return items to us as per the details in the returns policy above together with a covering letter containing your name, address, order reference and request action.

Upon receipt any returned items will be examined to determine the condition and any use which has been made of the product prior to any refund being processed.

In the event of an item returned which has been used and cannot be considered to be in as supplied condition, Antics reserves the right to make a deduction from the refund to cover any loss incurred.

Antics will refund your payment for the items returned plus your postage costs for returning the products promptly upon receipt of the returned items.

In all cases our maximum refund liability shall be the total payment made by yourself for the returned products plus the cost of return postage incurred up to a maximum of the Royal Mail Standard Parcel rate plus any additional signature recording charge.

We do not refund payment for any additional services (eg. Special delivery or insurance premiums) unless such service and cost has been specifically agreed with us in advance.

Antics reserves the right to decline to supply further goods or services to customers who have previously cancelled orders for commissioned products without good reason, or to require pre-payment of a non-refundable deposit before commencing work on any subsequent commissioned or specially ordered product.

Goods Lost In Transit

Anticsonline ship packages using Royal Mail or Business Post couriers. Where you have provided an email address with your order we will email a copy of your invoice to you on the date of despatch.

All Business Post shipments are tracked and will require a signature on delivery. If you are not home then the courier will normally leave a card with the contact details for the companys’ depot and redelivery is normally attempted on the following working day.

Royal Mail shipments are sent by 2nd class package mail. Small packages which may be deliverable through your letter box are not normally recorded unless the contents are of significant value.

Larger packages and packages with a value over £30.00 sent by Royal Mail are recorded and will require a signature on delivery. If you are not home Royal Mail normally leave a card indicating that they have attempted delivery and take the package back to your local depot.

Business Post deliveries within the UK are normally achieved on the following working day. Please contact us if you have not received your delivery within 3 days. These shipments can be tracked and we can advise the tracking number, current location and usually a contact telephone number so that you can arrange redelivery. It is often better for you to arrange such redelivery as you can provide directions to your property if the driver has had difficulty locating your address, or arrange for the delivery to be left with a neighbour.

Royal Mail operate a target delivery time of 3-5 working days for 2nd class packages. Many shipments are delivered on the following working day, however shipments are frequently delayed at busy time of the year and following bank holidays. If your delivery has not arrived after a week has elapsed from the date of despatch advised by email please contact us.

We regret that the Royal Mail will not accept that a shipment or package has gone missing or initiate any action to search for missing post until 21 days have elapsed from the date of posting.

While we understand that this inconvenient we must wait for Royal Mail to deliver or return the lost shipment before despatching a replacement.

When a shipment is returned to us as uncollected on undeliverable we will contact you to confirm that we have the correct address details and request additional guidance where your address has not been located by the carrier. We will then redespatch your shipment with the details supplied.

Antics reserves the right to request payment of the additional shipping charges incurred if a shipment is repeatedly returned as uncollected.

If a refund is required for lost registered shipments we must wait until the Royal Mail fraud investigation department have completed their investigation of any missing shipment, after which we will refund the value of any lost goods and postage charges.

In all cases, our maximum possible refund payable will be the total paid to us by you.  No payment or refund will be made for disappointment, time lost or any consequential loss of any form whatsoever.


All goods are sold subject to manufacturer's warranty. Any items found to be faulty, or not to your satisfaction, on arrival will be replaced or credited immediately, provided they are in mint condition and returned within 14 days. Normal statutory rights apply.

WEEE Regulations

The Waste Electrical and Electronic Equipment (WEEE) Directive is now UK law. The legislation aims to make producers pay for the collection, treatment and recovery of waste electrical equipment. The regulations mean that suppliers of equipment like high street shops and internet retailers must allow consumers to return their waste equipment free of charge.

The amount of WEEE we throw away is increasing by around 5% each year, making it the fastest growing waste stream in the UK.

  • Much of the UK’s WEEE ends up in landfill, where the lead and other toxins it contains can cause soil and water contamination. This can have a harmful effect on natural habitat, wildlife and also human health.
  • Many electrical items that we throw away can be repaired or recycled. Recycling items helps to save our natural finite resources and also reduces the environmental and health risks associated with sending electrical goods to landfill.

Distributors of new Electric and Electronic Equipment (EEE) have a part to play in reducing the amount of WEEE going into landfill sites.

Under these regulations Antics offers its customers free take-back of WEEE on a like-for-like basis when purchasing a new Electrical or Electronic product from us.

For example, if a customer buys a radio control unit we will accept an old radio control equivalent item and prevent it going into a landfill site by disposing of it safely. Customers must return their WEEE item to us within 28 days of purchasing their new item, carriage paid.

Under the WEEE Regulations, all new electrical goods should now be marked with the crossed-out wheeled bin symbol shown below:

Goods are marked with this symbol to show that they were produced after 13th August 2005, and should be disposed of separately from normal household waste so that they can be recycled.
