more | Revell 1/9 Ducati Monster S4 Motorbike (07923) Since 2001 the Ducati Monster S4 has been one of the top unfaired motor cycles available. From the engine point of view, it is not just an offshoot of the successful Monster range, but a completely new project. On this naked bike with its attractive, very technically effective appearance, carbon fibre has been used to reduce the weight, including of the mudguards and the cog belt cover. This power bike is driven by a powerful 916 Desmoquattro engine, the 996, which is distinguished by its excellent high-revving capability, offering a noteworthy flexibility and performance that are unequalled in this range. The twin-cylinder engine delivers 101 bhp and accelerates the S4 from 0 to 100 kph in 3.1 and from 0 to 200 kph in 11.4 seconds. The top speed is stated to be about 240 kph. At the same time the machine has a good, safe Brembo braking system. A rigid chassis provides it with simple handling and the stability that guarantees excellent road-holding and, above all, outstanding cornering. However the decisive factor is a perfect design, characterized by its attractive styling, powerful engine, remarkable sound and expensive chassis. The performance of this first water-cooled Monster makes the S4 the most powerful offspring of the Monster family.more..

more | Italeri 1/6 Honda RC211V 2003 GP Valencia (4508) Ernesto Arnaes is the author of the bizarre colour design of the Honda RC 211V on which Valentino Rossi won the Valencia GP 2003, the last race of the World Motorcycle Championship. This livery, inspired by the 1960’s style is the fruit of the competition organised by Repsol in collaboration with the Spanish magazine “Motociclismo”. The winning design was chosen by a jury composed of Valentino Rossi in collaboration with other notable personalities of the motorcycle scene such as M. Doohan, C. Fiorani and C. Drudi. The motorcycle painted with this design should have made its public appearance only on Sunday, the day of the race, but Rossi wanted to mount the new fairing and test it himself on Saturday because making modifications to the motorcycle on the day of the race never brought him good luck.
more | Italeri 1/6 Yamaha YZRM1 Go 2004 Rossi (4510) By signing on racing phenomenon Valentino Rossi, Yamaha had set its sights on winning the world title, a goal that had remained out of its grasp for far too long, the last victory being with W. Rainey in 1992. It would be no easy task: owing to contractual problems, Rossi was unable to test the new motorcycle before January. Nevertheless, at the first long-awaited race Rossi exceeded even the most optimistic expectations. The race turned out to be a thrilling contest between archrivals Rossi and Biaggi. To the delight and incredulity of the entire Yamaha team, Rossi took the chequered flag to win the first GP of the season. The message was clear: the M1 was already competitive and ready to battle it out for supremacy with Honda. The whole season was characterised by a head-to-head battle between Rossi and Gibernau and only at the penultimate race was the Yamaha M1 crowned world champion 2004.
more | Italeri 1/9 Honda Gp1 Repsol Motorbike kit Valentio Rossi (4601) When the 30 year abandonment of 4-stroke engines in 500 cc races came to an end, Honda came up with the all-new, technologically and aesthetically innovative RC 211V. This 4-stroke bike was an instant hit: it dominated the first GP1 world championship and took both constructors' and riders' titles, with Valentino Rossi winning 14 out of the 16 GPs. This fantastic bike thus opens a whole new era of world championship GP racing.
more | Italeri 1/9 Norton Max 500CC Motorcycle Kit (4602) This glorious English manufacturer made a comeback after the Second World War. In 1949 this famous single-cylinder 500, ridden by Daniell, won the first world championship race to be held in England, on the torturous Tourist Trophy circuit. In 1950 and 1951 it was ridden to world championship title victory by the fearless Englishman G. Duke. Innovative for its time, it was the first bike to use an upper and lower cradle-type chassis.

more | Italeri 1/9 MV Augusta 500cc 3 Cylinder (1967) (4604) While a 3-cylinder engine was not exactly a novelty, in that other constructors had already experimented this configuration, it was undoubtedly the first to achieve such brilliant performance. A full 92 HP at 13,500 RPM, lightness and excellent handling made this 500 the most successful of the Cascina Costa stable. Following its 1966 debut, it won 7 consecutive world championships from 1967 to 1973 with G. Agostini.
more | Italeri 1/9 Yamaha YZR 500 2004 Motorbike Kit (4605) This motorcycle was built around the experience of the late J. Saarinen. Killed in an accident while still young, Saarinen would, sadly, never reap the success of which the project was so deserving. The engine, a combination of two 250 cc 2-stroke twin cylinder engines, provided 95 HP at 10,000 RPM. Together with the 6-speed gearbox it could achieve a top speed of over 280 Kph. Single disc rear brake and double disc front. This bike, ridden to championship victory by G. Agostini in 1975, marked the beginning of the decline of MV Agusta, which had previously won numerous world titles.
more | Italeri 1/9 Ducati Monster S4 Motorbike Kit (4614) The S4 is the wildest bike from the legendary Monster family. The goal behind its design was a simple one: to build the most powerful, manageable Monster yet to be seen! more | Italeri 1/9 MV Agusta F4 2002 Motorbike Kit (4616) The "MV Agusta Special Parts" are the only official world distributor of all special parts and clothing for MV Agusta Motorcycles and has come up with this splendid transformation kit. The kit, made in close collaboration with CRC (Cagiva Research Centre), has immediately become a collector's item thanks to the high number of parts in carbon fibre, made using technology adopted in F1: fairing, fuel tank, mudguard, intake ducts and other smaller parts.
This model represents this motorbike and will require paints and glue to complete.
more | Italeri 1/9 Honda RC211V Repsol Motorbike Kit Rossi (4622) World champions Valentino Rossi and the Honda RC211V, winners of the MotoGP world championship for the second year running. In 2002 the Repsol Honda Team trounced its rivals and wisely decided to reaffirm both rider and bike for the 2003 season, with V. Rossi back in the saddle of the RC211V, flanked by his young team-mate N. Hayden. The bike, although seemingly identical to the previous year’s model features, numerous technical modifications: a completely re-designed fairing and saddle, plus new silencer, clutch, side panelling and front and rear mudguards. The 2003 world championship was a gripping one and the head-to-head duels between Rossi, Biaggi, Gibernau and Capirossi will be remembered for a long time to come. An enthralling championship that has had fans on the edge of their seats all the way to the chequered flag.
more | Italeri 1/9 Honda RC211V Pramac Team Motorbike Kit (4623) This highly competitive Spanish team is managed by former 250cc World Champion Sito Pons. The team has poured all its hopes and resources into its new signing for the 2003 season, Max Biaggi. Last year the Brazilian rider A. Barros succeeded in clocking up two wins with the all-new RC211V at Motegi and Valencia. Thanks to invaluable experience with these motorcycles and the indisputable class of its riders, M. Biaggi and T. Ukawa, the team expects to enjoy excellent results, thus making the 2003 Moto GP season more enthralling than ever. Biaggi, Rossi’s arch-rival has already shown himself to be a champion-class rider by taking the RC211V to the podium several times after thrilling duels with his rivals: thanks to his skills, the Spanish team is currently lying second in the team championship, in the slipstream of the seemingly unreachable Repsol team.
more | Italeri 1/9 Ducati desmosedici MotoGP 2003 Capirossi/Bayliss (4625) Following innumerable successes in the Superbike championship, the king of four-stroke motorcycle makers just had to take part in Moto GP. The all-new engine, a 990 cc 4-cylinder V, supplies an incredible 232 HP. Thanks to exceptional teamwork, the signing of top-class riders L. Capirossi and T. Bayliss, and a Desmosedici that is both powerful and reliable, the new Ducati has been the real revelation of the season. A generous Capirossi has pulled out some unbelievable moments of pure sporting genius, even managing to snatch victory in the Catalonia G.P. To demonstrate the considerable competitiveness of his motorcycle Loris Capirossi also established, on the Mugello racetrack, an absolute speed record for this category of motorcycle, clocking up a breathtaking 330 Kph.
more | Italeri 1/9 MV Augusta 500cc 4 Cylinder 1964 (4630) This Cardan-transmission motorcycle, first built in 1950, reached a peak of reliability and competitiveness in 1956 when it adopted chain transmission and a telescopic front fork. The 500 cc 4-cylinder MV Agusta was ridden by the world’s most famous racers - J. Surtees, M. Hailwood, G. Hocking and G. Agostini. Thanks to them this near-unbeatable motorcycle dominated the 500 cc category from 1956 to 1965, winning 9 world titles. It continued competing until 1966 when it was “retired” to make way for a new, lighter, more manageable 3-cylinder motorcycle. The model, pre-moulded in the original colours and with chrome-plated parts, also features working suspension and rubber tyres.
